The Office of the Vice President and General Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the University of Florida, its component units and affiliated entities, and to its employees while acting within the scope and course of their employment.

The Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) facilitates institutional approval for all proposal submissions, accepts and administers grant awards, and negotiates contracts and other research-related agreements on behalf of the University of Florida.

UF Innovate is building business on innovation. It is the umbrella organization uniting the four entities that drive the innovation ecosystem at UF. Based at one of the nation’s leading research institutions, UF Innovate comprises Tech Licensing, Ventures, and two business incubators, The Hub and Sid Martin Biotech.

The mission of UF Procurement is to support the purpose and goals of the University of Florida — its educational, research, patient care and public service missions — by purchasing and providing quality goods and services at competitive prices and providing responsive and responsible service to all University departments.

UF Compliance and Ethics (UFCE) is part of a collaborative effort from multiple offices under the leadership of the Chief Compliance Officer. All Compliance Offices collaborate to promote a culture of ethics and compliance at the University of Florida and UF Health.
